Peter Cooper | Enterprise Software Expert and Entrepreneur
Enterprise software expert and entrepreneur Peter Cooper, Broadcom Commercial & Enterprise Markets and Managed Partners Europe leader from February 2021 to April 2025, today works at Island – The Enterprise Browser as a channel lead. Here, he is leading the development of the channel and partner ecosystem with a view to redefining how user experience, productivity and cybersecurity combine at the browser layer.
Having spent the last 25 years of his career nurturing turnaround, growth and transformation across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for some of the world’s biggest cybersecurity brands, Mr Cooper is now building something entirely new on the cutting edge of innovation. This represents not just a shift in technology but also a seismic operational shift that will invite the forward-thinking partners of Island to provide meaningful value to their customers in real time.
Broadcom
Mr Cooper’s former role, within Broadcom’s Enterprise Security Group, gave him the opportunity to lead the implementation of the Aggregation Program across Europe. This involved rethinking traditional operational models to create scalable and partner-first motions. Mr Cooper’s experiences at Broadcom reinforced his belief that it is the vendors able to reimagine how they engage partners today that will win tomorrow.

Entrepreneurship
In terms of entrepreneurship, Mr Cooper previously set up and ran the audio-visual company Presentation Partners, and along with his wife he is the co–founder of LoveMyGroomer, a home-based dog grooming company. As well as helping with the occasional wash of canine clients, Mr Cooper manages the business’s marketing activities.
Mr Cooper and his wife support each other’s professions, and they are both committed to excellence in their professional careers. They are active supporters of the animal charities the RSPCA and Soi Dog Foundation, the latter of which has been rescuing and neutering stray dogs and cats in Asia for more than 20 years.
Skills Development
Highly respected for his business and mentoring skills, Mr Cooper has attended many sales skills courses over the years, including Challenger Sales, SPIN, NLP, MEDDPIC and Dale Carnegie, where he was a trainer.
